Alan Tong, FNP-C is a board-certified nurse practitioner whom graduated with a unique Summa Cum Laude distinction during his training. Prior to becoming a NP, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology but discovered a newfound passion for healthcare after losing a loved one to cancer. His life challenges have empowered him to practice medicine that is patient centered; advocating for prevention and fostering a relationship of trust.
As a dermatology patient himself, Alan understands firsthand to the negative impacts on self-esteem and quality of life when dermatologic needs are inadequately met. Empowered by this, he is committed to providing the highest standard of evidence-based care that is uniquely tailored ensuring his patients feel beautiful inside and out.
Alan has a warm and compassionate approach to medicine. He collaborates with his patients to attain achievable outcomes while striving to maintain meaningful long-lasting relationships. On his free time, Alan has an interest for the outdoors. He is an avid hiker and enjoys travelling, especially to Hawaii.
