Dr. Hou is double board-certified in both dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery. She received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. She subsequently trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City as an intern physician and at UC San Diego as a dermatology resident. After residency, Dr. Hou pursued Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology fellowship at UC Irvine.
Dr. Hou has a long-standing passion in fighting skin cancer. Mohs micrographic surgery is the most effective method to remove skin cancers. She trained in Mohs surgery and facial plastic reconstruction under world-renowned surgeons as a Mohs Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellow at University of California Irvine. She has performed thousands of Mohs surgery cases. She is highly skilled in all aspects of Mohs surgery, with the most up-to-date knowledge of skin cancer management.
